Dave joined the Navy when he was 17 years old and spent the next 12 years having adventures as a Navy SEAL. He left the Navy due to a back injury and eventually worked as an electrical engineer. Good fortune led him to open the first CrossFit Affiliate on the planet back in 2002 in his one car garage. Currently, Dave is the head instructor/owner at Level 4 CrossFit Seattle.

Jim joined the Navy when he was 17 years old and spent 5 out of his 11 years in the Navy as a SEAL deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Jim left the Navy due to a shoulder injury and worked in executive protection for a high-profile family for several years. Currently, Jim is an instructor at Level 4 CrossFit Seattle.

After Zack finished college, he moved to Israel and helped open the country’s first CrossFit Affiliate. While there, he trained with Ido Portal and qualified for the CrossFit Regionals. After returning to the States, Zack worked at several different CrossFit affiliates and is currently an instructor at Level 4 CrossFit Seattle.

In college, Steve pitched at a Division I school, the University of Richmond, while earning his degree in exercise science. He then taught junior high physical education for ten years before deciding to train mostly adults. He is an OPT Associate Coach and is currently an instructor at Level 4 CrossFit Seattle.

Back in the day, Nancy was a secretary when there were only paper calendars. She spent 17 years working at the University of Washington in an assortment of jobs doing things like managing budgets, developing websites, running an exchange program, and fundraising. She worked as the Affiliate Director for CrossFit HQ for a year. Currently she is the manager/owner of Level 4 CrossFit Seattle.
